WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM XEOMIN® INJECTIONS?
Xeomin® is administered through a series of injections with a tiny needle. Your plastic surgeon injects Xeomin® directly into the muscles that you use for facial expressions. The active ingredient in Xeomin® has an immediate effect on the muscles, so you may notice some reduction in wrinkles. The skin needs time to relax, and this can take about five to seven days.
We recommend that you schedule maintenance appointments every three to four months. If you go longer between treatments, the skin may develop deeper wrinkles and need more time to relax after the treatment.
